PARENTS AS TEACHERS

Parents As Teachers is an in-home early childhood parent education and family support program designed to help families in Oakland County with young children up to 6 years old. Parents As Teachers is committed to working with parents during the critical early years of their children’s lives. The program is available at no cost to the participant.

Parents As Teachers provides parents with information on child development and involves parents in learning activities with their child. These activities encourage growth in areas of development such as language and social emotional skills.

Home visits are scheduled at the convenience of the family.
