the proper tools for their future
Day One
Day One is Oakland Family Services' mental health and substance use disorder counseling program. We offer caring, confidential, research-based therapy for people of all ages. Day One also offers the Project Recovery Intensive Services for Mothers (PRISM) program, which provides parenting and pregnant women with one-on-one and group therapy, skill-building sessions, plus transportation and childcare, when needed.
Specialized Services for Youth
Funded by Oakland Community Health Network, our Specialized Services for Youth (SSY) program provides counseling for ages 6-21 with severe emotional disturbance and their families.
