Using a cultural competency plan, participants will be able to integrate policies, procedures and practices that reflect a respect and valuing of families' cultures. Participants will also be able to recognize the cultural needs of their families and children.

Childcare providers can register at miregistry, a statewide data system for professionals, trainers, and organization to verify and track employment, training, and educational accomplishments.
