Great Start to Quality Orientation

This is a 7-hour, basic training requirement for those interested in participating in the Michigan Department of Education-Office of Great Start's Child Development and Care (CDC) subsidy program. This training includes: child development; setting up shared expectations for children in your care; health, safety and nutrition; basic first aid and CPR certification.

Childcare providers can register at miregistry, a statewide data system for professionals, trainers, and organizations to verify and track employment, training, and educational accomplishments. Providers also can contact Nicole King at (248) 858-7766 ext. 1323.
