Supporting Families Experiencing Homelessness: How Childcare Providers Can Help

  • Babes in Toyland 885 East Long Lake Road Troy, MI, 48085 United States (map)

The purpose of this three-hour training is to introduce childcare providers to the facts about family homelessness in Michigan, and explore ways providers can support such families whose children are in their care. We will share information about this issue, how it relates to childcare providers and their businesses, how providers can help their families in homeless situations, and share resources you can offer to these families and their children.

Childcare providers can register at miregistry, a statewide data system for professionals, trainers, and organizations to verify and track employment, training, and educational accomplishments.
