Talking is Teaching is a national campaign that promotes public awareness to parents, childcare providers and community leaders of the importance of talking, reading and singing to children from birth to age 8. This training will provide information on language and literacy development and give strategies on supporting children in the earliest stages of development which helps to develop healthy brains and lifelong literacy skills.

Childcare providers can register at miregistry, a statewide data system for professionals, trainers, and organizations to verify and track employment, training, and educational accomplishments.
