Maisie's on the move: Early On helps toddler reach developmental milestones

As an infant, Maisie didn’t have the strength to hold her head up or sit by herself. She could grab toys with one hand, but her other hand was too weak. Maisie and her mom, Sufia, received help from Early On, a home-visiting program offered by Oakland Family Services that helps children zero to three who have, or are at risk of, a developmental delay. Now, not only is Maisie sitting up, she is walking down the stairs!
