Oakland Family Services’ 2018-2019 annual report is now available to view digitally on our website.

The annual report shares the many ways Oakland Family Services has invested in our community during fiscal year 2018-2019, thanks to the support of our donors and the commitment of our staff. Through its prevention, education and treatment programs, Oakland Family Services has built brighter futures for the people who need us the most in our community.

The report shares a financial report, a list of donors and special stories from the individuals and families we serve, as well as some of the year’s highlights, including:

  • In prevention, our Parents as Teachers program worked toward achieving Blue Ribbon status, meaning that our program is one of the top-performing home visiting affiliates within the organization’s international network.

  • In education, we secured grant funding to have a children’s mental health specialist at our Children’s Learning Centers to help children who have experienced trauma.

  • In treatment, based on the high-quality outcomes of its participation in the MISSION-CJ program, Oakland Family Services was requested to continue to be a provider of this pilot program. MISSION-CJ helps incarcerated individuals with mental health and opioid use issues as they transition through the last portion of their time in prison to a supported and drug-free life after release.
