Space is the place: Summer camp kids launch into space with artwork

Our summer camp kids put their creativity to a test as they constructed 3D planets with papier-mache and paint during Space is the Place Week Aug. 3-7 at our Children’s Learning Centers in Pontiac and Walled Lake.

Some of our younger kiddos made pictures of outer space using cotton balls to represent the planets and turned Coca-Cola bottles into rockets.

Summer camp opened at our Children’s Learning Centers in July at reduced capacity.
