DAVID TINDALL, PHD, LPC, MA
Vice President of DEVELOPMENT
David joined Oakland Family Services in 2023 as the Vice President of Development.
He brings over 12 years of fundraising experience to the position along with his more than 20 years of higher education experience including academic advising, programming, leadership development, student housing, fundraising as well as strategic planning and supervision.
David is a licensed counseling professional, earning a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Sports Management, a Master of Arts in Counseling and a PhD in Education Leadership.
He is certified as a John Maxwell Leadership Coach and a graduate of Leadership Oakland, LOXXVI.
David is passionate about helping individuals find meaningful ways to make an impact.
He has served on several boards throughout his career and is presently president of his homeowner’s association.
In his current position, David works closely with the executive leadership team and oversees the development and volunteer operations of the agency.
