Kids beat the heat with Water Day

Our summer camp kids are beating the heat this summer with Water Day! Once a week the children cool off in kiddie pools, with a slip and slide, sprinkler or gardening hose.

Water day provides the kids physical activity that is different than the playground," said Kyeisha Seaton, lead teacher at the Children's Learning Center in Pontiac.

"They love the idea of running through the sprinkler, " she said "They get excited as they try to stay dry but get each other wet, and they love jumping in and out of the pools."

Try having a Water Day at home with your children!
