With Oakland Family Services’ physical offices closed to the public to flatten the curve of the coronavirus, our staff has transitioned to working from home and providing almost all of our services virtually.

To keep our staff connected from afar, we celebrated Spirit Week during the week of March 30-April 3. Our employees’ family members (and even some of their pets) joined in on the fun!

Superhero Day

On Monday, we celebrated “traditional” superheroes and the heroes working on the front lines in the fight against COVID-19.

Silly Hat/Hair Day

On Tuesday, we let our hair go a little wild in honor of salons, restaurants, and other small businesses that are shut down or unable to operate in their regular capacity.

College/Sports Team Day

On Wednesday, we wore our favorite fan gear and shared memories in support of all the teams who aren't able to play or function as usual during the coronavirus pandemic.

Oakland Family Services Logowear Day

On Thursday, we showed appreciation and support for our amazing staff members, who are working hard from home to continue building brighter futures.

Pajama Day

On Friday, we celebrated the best part of working from home: PJs!
