Time is running out to purchase your tickets for A Roaring Century: A Celebration of Oakland Family Services’ 100th Year!
The once-in-a-century gala will take place on Saturday, May 14, at the Bloomfield Hills Country Club. Guests will enjoy cocktails, dinner, music and entertainment as we look back on a century of building brighter futures.
The RSVP deadline is May 4, and tickets can be purchased at oaklandfamilyservices.org/aroaringcentury. Purchase of a $225 Patron Ticket provides Oakland Family Services with a $95 tax deductible donation, while a $325 Benefactor Ticket includes a $195 donation.
“We are excited about the chance to finally be together with our friends and supporters to celebrate 100 years of service to our community,” said Director of Development Kristin Benton. “It really is the support of our board members, our donors and our staff that have made it possible for Oakland Family Services to have been here for children and families for 100 years, and these same people will make it possible for us to be here for many years to come.”
Businesses, organizations and individuals are invited to sponsor the event at various levels of sponsorship beginning at $1,000. Guests may also purchase a table for eight without a sponsorship.
All donations will support Oakland Family Services as we prepare to enter our second century of service to southeast Michigan.
“If the last two years have taught us anything, they taught us the value of quality time together and being there for each other,” Benton said. “This celebration is an opportunity to thank our supporters for always being there for us and the families we serve.”

COVID-19 Health Protocols
The health and safety of Oakland Family Services’ guests, staff, volunteers, donors and clients is our highest priority. In order to ensure an enjoyable experience for all those who attend the A Roaring Century gala, Oakland Family Services will be using the following protocols:
Masks will not be required for gala participants. However, masks will be made available for all attendees.
Hand sanitizer will be available on the first and second floor of the Bloomfield Hills Country Club, and personal bottles of hand sanitizer will be made available to all attendees at the registration table.
Oakland Family Services will make at-home rapid COVID-19 tests available upon request to all event attendees.
Air purifiers will be placed throughout the facility.
