Change the date: A Roaring Century gala postponed to May 2022

Due to the ongoing risk of the coronavirus pandemic, Oakland Family Services has made the difficult decision to postpone its centennial celebration gala, which was originally scheduled for Friday, Sept. 24, 2021.

A Roaring Century: A Celebration of Oakland Family Services’ 100th Year has been rescheduled to Saturday, May 14, 2022, at the Bloomfield Hills Country Club.

“This decision was difficult to make, but we want to be able to keep everyone safe when we celebrate together,” said Director of Development Kristin Benton. “We are disappointed that we are unable to celebrate our 100th anniversary with our supporters this fall. However, we're keeping in mind that the celebration has not been canceled, just postponed. We’re looking forward to the day we're able to come together again, safely, in celebration of 100 years of building brighter futures. We truly wouldn't be here without our supporters and we’re waiting for the day we can thank you all in person.”
